last friday, I went 14.3 @ 99 with a 2.3 60 ft.
you could run a 13.9 it just depends what track/weather/how good of a driver you are..... so on and so on
Run it and let us know what a car with your mods does in the 1/4 mile

14.3 sounds like a good number. I will post what I get, I am racing next weekend.

you'll run just like a stock GT. your mods have added 0hp.

depending on a number of variables, you could be anywhere from 13.7-14.3 @ 99-101mph.

Um.. take it to the track and you'll know for sure. I seriously don't understand why people ask for guesses, instead of just going and doing it.

Will this be your first time at the track? If so I'm going with over 14.50. Make sure to post up after! Now if the question is what is possible, then see stangliter04's post. It takes a very good driver to hit 13.9 stock on street tires.

The reason I ask is because I want to know what is a good time from a good driver. I have already been to the track once. I was one of 3 stock GTs racing and we ALL got between 15.2-15.6! I have read on here that people say that stock GT's should get like low 14's, but I know that some of the GT's there have raced quit a bit, so I wanted to know if elevation played a big part, besides, both of my friends (stock Mach 1's) run low 14's. Not saying that GT's can't run what everyone is saying, I'm saying that from what I saw, 2 mach 1's (both raced many times before) and all the GTs comparable to mine (pretty much stock) ran 14.1 or higher. Maybe the all 5 drivers including myself suck at racing...

how long have you had the car.......?

bottom line it sounds like you need practice drag racing at the strip is all about practice, timing and patience. dont get discouraged with the time slips you are getting right now.

if you live in a high alltitude region, that's the reason for the slow times.

Its pretty much stock so ill say 13.9-14.3 if its a manual and 14.2-14.5 if its an auto. Traps in the 97-99 mph range.

I don't think a catback and K&N drop in filter is gonna get a GT to a 13.9. Throw in some gears and wider tires and it can happen.

look up any 99-04 GT specs online and all the 1/4 mile time are around 13.8 to 14.1... if I pulled a 14.3 with my lack of mods and a hot 95 track temp with a 2.3 60ft time I dont see how its that far off....

I ran 14.4s @ 96.50 with just a K&N and a ram air setup. Bout like stock. My guess IF YOU WERE IN LOWER ALT. Would be a 14.2 @ 97-98.

Well Thanks for the replies. Atleast I know what I should shoot for. Yes the air is thin, I am in UTAH, high elevation. I knew that had something to do with it

I ran a 14.5 at 98 MPH, BONE stock besides my shifter, my 60 was 2.3, if I could get that down alittle bit I'd be seeing low 14's for sure.

Yeah man, know how ya feel...... the air here isn't exactly the best either. Stock and close to stock GTs are running mid 14s here. I ran a 13.8 in my Mach bone stock with a 2.11 60' ....... up there in Utah you should prolly be seeing mid to high 14s depending how high you really are. Possibly a low 15 if air is that bad
