You might want to check the clearance for safety's sake, but you should be able to. It might require you to remove the baffles inside the valve covers though.
Usually yes. You might have to remove the baffel and might have to do a little grinding but that is it. I know that with the Crane Energizer series they will clear because they come stock on 93-95 Cobra's. I had them and had no issues, but then agian those were 1.7's but I am sure it's the same on fit.
Shouldn't be a problem. They fit with my 1.7's with the stock cam. When I changed my cam I took off the baffle and ground down the part of the valve cover the baffle attaches to,put the baffle back on and had lots of clearance. Those aluminum valve covers polish up to a nice shine if you have the time and patience.
I had to remove the baffles AND grind down some of the valve cover with my FMS 1.6's. I was running a pretty healthy cam if that makes a difference...PB
putting on thick high quality aftermarket valve cover gaskets can help a touch. Summits websight lists the thickness of most of your gaskets so you can find the size you need
Felpro sells diferent VC gaskets i used the ones that have the metal spacers that are like washers for the bolt hole, they prevent over tigtening and give you extra hight (not much but just to be safe) on the VC.
