With a little weight reduction, and a good driver, I would think so.

My old 00 gt had the following: 3.73 bbk cold air rpm intake plenum bbk throttle body catted h pipe and Mac cat back. On heavy chrome wheels with mt drag radials car went 13.01 at 104.5 on handling suspension. I never got a chance to get back to track but I bet with a tune it woulda went 12's

I really need to get my control arms installed, grab some DR's and give this thing a shot.

My 2nd or 3rd time ever drag racing it went 14.2 on street tires, before the 3.73s and LTs :-/

Someone on here has an automatic with full bolt-ons and gears, and has gone into the 12s. Can't remember his name.

No doubt! But tires & suspension are key.

Of course its possible. I remember seeing guys run 11's with just bolt ons in PI 2V cars.

I could be wrong, but I don't think anyone went 11s without cams.

For how simple they are to install, I'd consider cams a bolt-on

I'm sure you can run 12s without a tubular k-member kit, but if you're looking for the maximum ET reduction, you should certainly install one. You mentioned control arms earlier. Which ones do you have?

Hmmm I could have sworn I read about a guy running high 11's in his bolt-on only new edge

Hahaha! My bad bro. It was the OTHER person with a blue Mustang avatar and sonic in their username. Ugh. I'm gettin' old!

My previous comment holds true though. I think you could get a New Edge GT into the 12s without full suspension, but suspension upgrades certainly help!!!
