Finally I got it and not by much. Old best in the sig along with link to mods.
I went 13.0 a few times today and even 13.001(MFER). Had a new best 60' on et streets 1.68 bone stock suspension(minus front sway bar) at 3550 race weight. The DA's were a little over 1000' today so there is a 12.7-8 pass in the car with a little better weather

60'........1.72
330.......5.287
1/8.......8.253
mph......82.710
1000.....10.823
1/4.......12.997
mph......103.75

just think the car can cut a 1.6 and with better weather I should pick up .15-.2. Car could use a tune too since i just have an off the shelf superchip

Hey Jackie, ? for you.

Do you have a roll cage installed?

Or do you just make one pass , then get booted off the track?

no cage, the place is very lenient about that....i will get one next year. even for driving the car on the street i would feel safer with something to save my skull from a roll over(even though i would crack it open on the bar )

I guess so

I saw 2 guys get booted yesterday for going faster than 13.99 in their Verts.

I would have got booted myself yesterday, but I only had time for 2 passes and they both were for schit!

My first one I had a nice launch and good traction through 2nd, but I missed 3rd Went 14.893 @ 97.85 2.051 60'

2nd pass was terrible, No traction what so ever. 2.465 60' Went sideways in 2nd gear and had to get out of it for sec. Ended up running a lousy 14.529 @ 98.90.

Oh well, I'll have my DR's in the spring.

BTW Nice times Bro!

Hitting 12's in your car is very impressive. Especially since it is a vert and N/A. How much weight did you drop to get to your race weight?

thanks guys

the weight reduction only consisted of:

dumps
no dog bone
no front sway bar
removed crossmember under tranny(only in verts)
passenger seat removed
and rear seat bottom removed
no spoiler

The rear seat bottom was like 5 pounds and same with the set back, i could just have easily left it in.

Last time i weighed the car at gainesville it was 3620 with me in it and the sway bar, spoiler and seats intact. I weigh 220 as of my last visit to the gym thursday

Hey Jackie, thats great! I wonder what you could get out of my 'vert. You are a better driver then me for sure. Check out my mods, what do you think? I run at 2 tracks that are close to sea level, Island Dragway and Englishtown. Tell me what you think you can ring out of my baby and I'll tell you what my best time was. Thanks. :worship:
