Bad prep on the starting line could be the cause of that. Chill man.

lopey4.6 said:Well we removed the A/C, back seat, spare tire and jack. And the guy driving is more or less a professional driver. If someone wants to call bs no problem.
damien2003gt said:Profesional driver. lol. Not with 2.2 sixty foot. Your trap speed, et, sixty foot don't even come close to matching. You suck! lol

as long as it does not rain i'll be there.Doc GTO said:That's the same thing I was thinking. You got two runs under 1.9 with your low 13.3s. The slip would help when you can post it!
What's the rule of thumb with weight reduction and ETs? Isn't it a 10th for every 100 pounds taken out???
Also, Bryan, you still on for Valdosta on 12/19? I'm almost positive I will make it so I can get some runs in before the holidays.
You'd have to be a definite hardcore racer to remove the AC.. It gets pretty WARM in the summer time here!some guys seem to forget thatt he track has as much to do with the 60's as the driver does.95snoozer said:a/c is NOT minor
and there are peopel cutting 1.8s 1.9s on stock tires... the professional driver needs some work on his launch or the track needs some more bite.
his shifting is good of course![]()
Thtas what JDM got with their 05 when they ran it bone stock. So thats roughly 2 that have gone 13.4Scot_94GT said:Well...if 200 lbs is worth .2 seconds, then that brings the time to around 13.4 for absolute stock...which is still very impresive.![]()

Is it Pete's car or a customer's car? Did he race his Cobra too?lopey4.6 said:Sorry for offending anyone or misleading anyone. I'll post the time slip tomorrow or the following day.
Firts off I made a misteak, the 60ft was like 1.94. Or right around there, I just couldn't remember exactly.
Second, this et was the second time ever he ran the car down the 1/4 mile. And he only just got the car on monday, and has never driven an 05 before that.
Third: If you know capitol raceway it is one Shi$#y track.
Fourth: I apologize for saying Bone stock. The idea was to see what kind of numbers we can get without adding any aftermarket parts. The parts that were removed can be put back in a couple hours. Thats not too hardcore.
So weather anyone wants to believe it or not fine. But I will say this: The 05 Mustang with a great driver, a little weight removed, and sticky tires will be high 12's easily.
And were going to be seeing a lot of this car when the season hits.
