if this guy is so good , why only a 2.00 sixty, average drivers should be able to do that.

That's the same thing I was thinking. You got two runs under 1.9 with your low 13.3s. The slip would help when you can post it!

What's the rule of thumb with weight reduction and ETs? Isn't it a 10th for every 100 pounds taken out???

Also, Bryan, you still on for Valdosta on 12/19? I'm almost positive I will make it so I can get some runs in before the holidays.

Well we removed the A/C, back seat, spare tire and jack. And the guy driving is more or less a professional driver. If someone wants to call bs no problem.

Profesional driver. lol. Not with 2.2 sixty foot. Your trap speed, et, sixty foot don't even come close to matching. You suck! lol

as long as it does not rain i'll be there.

Funny that when you said about the weight reduction that it was nothing major. Then you post it was the AC, Back Seat, etc. Around here in Florida.. LOL.. If you remove the AC. It's MAJOR!. ;) You'd have to be a definite hardcore racer to remove the AC.. It gets pretty WARM in the summer time here!

Um 13.20 is a little low for a 2.0 60', your time is really off the line. That other guy who ran a 13.35 pulled like a 1.87 60', I really doubt you could run an ET like that with that 60'.Trap is possable, especially with weight reduction...well just seen your list of weight reduction mods, and A. that is NOT a stock base line B. now I can see the trap really easy, but 13.2 is kinda hard to believe STILL, however it is possable. A stock baseline is WITH FULL weight, just because you leave the engine stock does NOT mean that that is what it runs stock. Now lowering tire pressure is ok IMO, and tire/jack removal should be mentioned...basically if you take ANYTHING off or add anything that improves performance in any way, it should be mentioned.I wanted to run mine STOCK but i added a K&N filter and we made a custom ram air before I had a chance to run it. EVERYTHING else was how it came from the factory, including tire pressure LOL.That probably explaines the 2.24 60', but that was my first time to the track with that car.(second ever)

Sorry for offending anyone or misleading anyone. I'll post the time slip tomorrow or the following day.

Firts off I made a misteak, the 60ft was like 1.94. Or right around there, I just couldn't remember exactly.

Second, this et was the second time ever he ran the car down the 1/4 mile. And he only just got the car on monday, and has never driven an 05 before that.

Third: If you know capitol raceway it is one Shi$#y track.

Fourth: I apologize for saying Bone stock. The idea was to see what kind of numbers we can get without adding any aftermarket parts. The parts that were removed can be put back in a couple hours. Thats not too hardcore.

So weather anyone wants to believe it or not fine. But I will say this: The 05 Mustang with a great driver, a little weight removed, and sticky tires will be high 12's easily.

And were going to be seeing a lot of this car when the season hits.

Is it Pete's car or a customer's car? Did he race his Cobra too?

I had talked to Pete about cams, I assume you're the one with the cams :D
