Anyone know how difficult adding the new '13 LED tail lights to the '10- '12 models is?

I know they are pricey- I am just wondering about the technology. They seem to be shaped just a little differently and the breakdown drawing of the rear assembly shows a few different hook ups that need to be used (due to the use of LEDs over normal bulbs) from the electrical to the tail lights themselves.

$1300 for lights! Hefty price tag for changing the rear lights thats not a perfect fit. Theres like a 1inch gap on the bottom part of the light. Lights do look sik tbough on the 13's. Good luck with whatever u choose to go with.

I'm pretty sure someone is going to be making a set of these for the 10-12 models and not have the huge price tag. It seems to be in high demand! Maybe Steeda can jump on that Hint hint, poke poke, lol.

Couldn't you just make your own?

What about these ? http://www.americanmuscle.com/aerostyle-tailights-1012.html
I know they are not the '13 lights but I think they are nicer than the factory 10-12 lights won't cost $1300 and they will fit correctly.

They just don't have that cool effect that those '13s do.
