like topic said, 13 degress initial at idle with unplugged spout once spout is plugged in it jumps to 30-35 and when you rev it up it doesnt really move. i didnt think it would run that much timing at idle? maybe i am missing something?
That doesn't seem right to me either. You should see ~10-12* of advance from just installing the SPOUT connector, and then when you blip the throttle, the timing should jump up nicely.
The SPOUT wiring would seem to be okay since the timing does change. As I recall, you will see ~5 volts with the SPOUT out and about 2/3 of battery voltage in that wiring with the SPOUT installed.
when i raised the idle a tad bit, it showed less advance.
i also am running an aftermarket painless injector harness, my spout is under the kickpanel by the computer, i dont know if this harness could be causing anything.

As I understand it with the spout out you set the base timing to 13* and when you plug the spout back in the total advance shoots up to around 30-35* while still at idle. If that is the case I am not sure what could cause that but it definitely isn't right. The timing should advance some when you plug the spout back in but not that much.
Is there anyway that you could go back to the stock injector harness just to see if the painless harness is the problem? If you can I would try that otherwise I am not sure where to look.
