The wiring upgrade is quite simple - a search will reveal tons. I researched it a lot and here is my take:
Jrichker has a couple of OUTSTANDING posts on it. I used all the parts he listed (I had looked before and could find nothing better than what he chose - he really hit the nail on the head IMHO). And his simplistic description (for dumbies like me) makes understanding what you need to do quite simple.
In his links he has Monte Smith's write up, which has excellent technical info, as well as MC's write up, which has pics for people like me who dont read too good (sic).
