16s just look odd, i dont think ive seen n e one on here with them, but i have seen the im person and they dont look right

I have seen them in life, yes they don't look right. If your going ot get 16's, get ponies.

got ponies
as far as 17x9 cobra r wheels what tires do i need to go right on with no rubbing and no modding

i know a guy who had 16" cobra rims on his car. combined with the shortened spokes, and having to widen them for the offset lug pattern of a 4-lug, they looked TERRIBLE.

if you get them i would go 17" or 18".

16", i would only go w/ Pony's.
I wouldn't goregualr R's, but if I did, no less than 17". I've heard different autocross opinions for 15 or 16's, but if one wereto be really serious about auto-x, then there would be far better choices than R's anyway.
I guess it depends if you're really going for aesthetics, performance at the strip, on the road course, longevity of suspension, etc.

Ditto. Cobra Rs only look right in 17... for 16 inchers... pony's are the only way to go. Nice car newbee90gt.

I didn't say they looked bad. Just weird.

I actually was referring to '95 R's. You wheels can pull off the 4-lug look...same with '03 Cobra wheels. The '95 R's just look odd. Something about the hub and the 4 lug holes that doesn't look right
