I am currently debating which TTs to buy, 16'' or 17''. Can anyone post some good pics of each? I want the 17'', but I do not want them to look too big on the car. Too much bling is not a good thing in my opinion. One of my neighbors has 16'' on his 65, and it looks perfect, but he is lowered about 2 inches all the way around. My 66 sits at stock ride height, so I was unsure.

Thanks.

Our 66 Coupe has 16" x 8" American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels with 4.5 inch backspacing and 225/50VR/16 tires.

It is 1 inch lower with 620 springs and 4 1/2 mid eye rear leafs

TONIGHT I just put on a staggered set of 18" Rear and 17" fronts. This is the rear and I haven't dropped the suspension yet, but I'm going to get them nicely tucked in the fender. Who say's you cant stuff 18" wheels with 10" of wide rubber in a 67 and not make it look like a DONK? Not me. She will sit nice when done.

The thing about 17" wheels, is you will have a much greater tire selection. The tire selection with 16" wheels is very limited.

Here's some pictures of my car with 17's
225/45/17 front
245/45/17 rear

They both look nice, but I really think that the 16s look the best. The thin sidwall doesn't look as good on a classic in my opinion.
