17" cobra r's worth it??

ok my buddy wants to sell me his month old aftermarket cobra r 17's with 245/45's on them...are they worth 800 bucks? and i have weld 15" rims now and they weigh it feels like 20 pounds less each than the cobra r's...wouldnt that slow me down some?

It's just a personal opinion I guess but I think 4 lug clone SN95 wheels look really stupid

for 8 stacks you can get new Cobra r's on new tires balanced.

I would go with 18 bullets.

yo can get new chrome ones for $1000.00 with new tires balanced and shipped on ebay of course.

its not just for the cobra r's its for the tires also, is 800 still too much to pay? he said it would knock down the price some if i traded him my rims and tires

for 884 shipped you can get brand new 4 lugs with brand new tires which have been balanced for you already, 17x8 in the fronts to prevent rubbing and 17x9s in the back for better grip

those are for silver cobra r's...the ones im talking about are chrome...and even if they were 884 for chrome shipped why pay that when i can pay 800??...cause his have only been on his car less than a month...??

Why... why why why do people say 4 lugs are ugly, or stupid. Who cares? You people who are doing 5 lug swaps simply for appearance and wheel variety need to sell your 5.0 and buy a Honduh. </rant>



$800 is way too much dude. I have about $850 in mine brand new mounted and balanced with new kumhos on my car

That's a tough choice. The cobra R's are noticably heavyier while driving the car. I bought some this summer from Summit as I'd rather deal with them than super generics off ebay. I got the chrome ones at the polished priced becuase the polished were on back order. 4 Lugs look just the same as 5 lugs, some people are retarded I think.

$800 is a decent deal if you can handle the extra weight.
