Figured maybe you guys would know..... I picked up a 93 Bronco 5.0 and the motor has a ton of blow by and failed emissions horribly bad so I'm re-ringing a lincoln town car engine with the roller cam, but old 289/302 firing order and throwing some E7s with the exhaust cleaned up a bit. Now...the bronco is a speed density setup and has 19 lb injectors stock, but I have a set of white 17lb injectors off of a 2000 Explorer 5.0. I can put the 19s back on, but the 17s are the newer 4 hole design and should be more efficient, the engine isn't going to see any amount of real power....but will the speed density freak out having 17lb injectors instead of 19lbers? Thanks

You have a potential for a lean condition since the injector flow at a given injector pulse width doesn't match what the computer expects to see. Simply put, unless you like chasing problems, stick with the 19 lb. injectors. Have them cleaned and flow tested to be sure that they are still working like the should.

I agree with Jrichker. You could play around with the FP to get the 17s up to 19lb flow rate, but why? Used 19's are dirt cheap. If you want to go the cheap route, soak yours in a bucket of techron or seafoam overnite, and buy a set of new o-rings and pintle caps.

Yeah, was thinking that, but wanted to hear it from some other people to be for sure. They sell rebuild kits for injectors online for pretty cheap. Thanks guys. And I think the earlier years used the 19s, but mine are out of a 2000, they're definitely white 17s.

Then they are the wrong injectors for that engine. Run the part number to make sure.

Correction, they're from a 99 explorer, and they are the correct injectors.
