Hey Just wondering if 19/lb injectors would be enough on my combo for 75-150 Shot Of Nitrous. Or would I be maxing them way beyond. I figure the combos making 290-300 FlyWheel Hp and mabye 310 Trq.

-1989 5.0
-Gt40 Irons, mildly ported
-TrickFlow Street Heat Intake
-E-Cam 498/498 Lift
-73mm Mass Air
-255/lph Intank Pump
-Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
-Equals, O/R h-pipe, and Flows

Wet or dry? If it's a wet kit you should be fine; if dry you'd probably be ok for the 75 shot but for a 100/125/150 I'd definitely consider upgrading your injectors to 24 lb'ers.

The Zex dry kit is designed to work with stock 19# injectors, and it goes up to a 125 shot, but that's on a STOCK engine and you have some mods that have increased your power output so I personally wouldn't feel safe using the 19# injectors with anything bigger than a 75 shot. There's too much at stake just to "try it and see" with a big shot.

I would atleast jet the FPR up a bunch. Just to be safe, spend the extra $100 on a set of used injectors.

It's not just the injectors though. Don't forget the MAS. If he has a Pro-M he'll have to send it in for a recal, or if he's got a C&L he'll need a different sampling tube that's calibrated for the bigger injectors.

I'm runnin a 5171 kit on my 92 and the 19#'s do just fine with the stock pump on a 125 shot. Friend of mine ran the same on his 89 vert with a 150 shot and we both have had no problems. 24#'s wouldn't hurt though. Just my .02...
