i have a 1964 galaxie 500 xl that i am gonna part out... its black with a red interior, bucket seats..... 390cid 2bbl big block 300hp...2 speed ford-o-matic tranny. mag 500's ...lots of good stuff.....know anyone who needs anything?
I second that. I once had a 65 that was "nipple brown" on the bottom and shiny black paint on the top.....Factory. Had a auto shifter on the floor with buckets and ran like a scalded dog.
Just thinking of those bodies give me goose bumps, especially with the tear drop hood scoop. I saw a baby blue one for sale before I bought my present Stang with a 428 or 429, can't remember with the tear drop hood. The seller wanted $7K but it wouldn't fit in my garage.
