Can anyone here by chance tell me what motor this is? I just recently sold a 68 and bought this 66 that is in really nice shape. However the engine is obviously not original but i dont know what year it came from or what it is. I know the date code is behind the starter but really didnt want to have to pull that off to see it. The engine has various sensor plugs on it that have nothing plugged into them and also has a serpentine belt setup that had to of been factory as there is no way they added it. Engine also has a dura-spark unit which i think was with the engine to start. They put a 4-barrel elderbrock carb on it. Also noticed there is a tube going from passenger side valve cover to the air cleaner that has a push in fitting on the side for it. I am somewhat new to the older cars as i was more of an import guy until recently moving to the classic cars. Thanks for any info.

Calibration sticker still on the valve cover? A range of 1982 through 1985 is as close as I can get without more pics.

Looks like my 90's 5.0 from pick and pull, belt setups the same. Maybe they pulled the efi and ran a carb

The spark plug wire arrangement on the distribuotr cap does look like the 'old' style (non-H.O./non-351W) 302 firing order.
