I have been out of the mustang game for a good while now. I recently purchased a very good condition 68 fastback. The suspension was rebuilt to stock probably about five years ago to give everyone a reference to how the car sits. This is going to be commonly driven so I am trying to avoid things like major scrubbing of the tires. Now to my question, will a 17x8 with 4.75 backspacing with a 235/45/17 on the front and a 17x9 with 5.5 backspacing with a 275/40/17 fit without major problems. I am looking to buy the C-67/edelbrock 454/eleanor (whatever they call them now) wheels. Has anyone here done business with Coy's custom wheel & tire out of Utah? Any assistance that you guys could give would be greatly appreciated.
