I have a 1968 Mustang Coupe V8 with drum brakes. I know there are a lot of disc brake conversion kits out there, but can someone tell me what all I would need to buy if I wanted to build my own conversion kit?
it depends on what system you want to use. for instance, if you want a factory 68 disc brake system, then what alex posted is required as the disc braked 68s used a different spindle. you can also use the 67 four piston disc brake kit on the drum brake spindles. and one more option is to check out scarebird mechanical for brackets that use your stock spindles and late model parts. it all depends on how much you can spend on the conversion.
