hi all, i have a quick couple questions.
i recently moved into the country, there is a shed/warehouse thing in the back that has a mustang sitting in about 2 inches of stagnant water. now there surprisingly isnt any rust on the body and the interrior is gutted but there are no rust holes on the floor panels which is a good sign..
its my fav mustang so i made a mission of clearing out all the crap away from it to verify what it was. and upon pulling it out of the hole i realized that the previous owner rigged the back end pretty bad, and here is how.
from my research the 69 stang is suppose to have the 6 vertical style lights on the back, which are in the barn as well, but the problem right now is that there are the horizontal cutouts like the Shelby is suppose to have and they appeared to be cut out with a sheer or something. and the Shelby lights are in the trunk. and the welds that hold that panel in are the worst Ive ever seen
in my opnion the shelby lights look like crap on a regular fastback so im going to ditch them, but wtf do i do ? I'm going to restore it one way or another but Ive never dealt with this much of a basket case.
please correct me if im wrong and
any advice would be awesome
thanks
Mike
