1970 Mach1 351c switched to a 4.6 police interceptor

I have a 1970 Mach 1 needing restoration. I ran into a guy that swapped a 2004 gm 5.7 into his 70 chevelle. It improved the performance and mpg unbelivably. Got me thinking has anyone ever swapped a 351c to a 4.6l police interceptor into a 70 mustang. I think it would be way more economical yet fast

they are putting the new coyote engines in there too....gas economy yes...but not cheap for the project....cleveland engines built can put down some nice power though.

If this would be your daily driver then sure swap out the 351C for gas milage. If not I would keep the 351C. Going to be a lot of work and money
to fit the 4.6. If you want power eventually then 351C is the path forward.
