ok, i guess i was wrong. i was always under the impression that they had the same heads but different pistons. i wonder if it's possible that it could have been a service replacement?

I have no idea about this. My book has been shown to be wrong a few times, so I don't recommend anyone take it as gospel. If you have a source that conflicts with the book, please post it. Thanks.

Edit: although the Boss chambers at 66.1 were smaller than the HO chambers at 75.4, I would assume (maybe not a good idea) that the 62.8 cc 1970 closed chamber heads are preferred over either.

The 351 CJ actually has lower compression (10.5 to 1) 4V close chamber heads and a 4 bolt main block vs the Cleveland 11 to 1 the Boss is a 4 Speed Standard close ratio 3.96 gears staggered shocks and front and rear sway bars option
