I am trying to put new synchros and input shaft in a 1975 4 speed. I can't figure out how to get the reverse sliding gear off the shaft. I have removed the roll pin on the output shaft and all of the snap rings. I can get all of the gears to spread apart so I can clearly see the gear in question, but it will not budge. Is it pressed on?
Thanks

Thanks, I finally figured it out this afternoon. Now I need to find a good input shaft.
