im thinking about buying a 1976 mustang cobra 2. i think it came with a 302. i wanted to know if it was a roller motor or not. i dont know much about classic cars so i was just wondering. i was also wondering how hard it would be to drop a 351w in it. any comments are greatly appreciated.

There is a Mustang II forum for the cars from 74-78.The stock 302 wouldn't be a roller motor in 1976 as those didn't come in Mustangs until 1985.A 351w would probably be possible but even the 302's required a special shallow oil pan to clear the crossmember so a 351w would complicate that even more. The guys on the Mustang II forum would know for sure.

Yea, saw that too. I'd like to know where he thinks he's going to get 3 grand for it.
