@Davedacarpainter

1- those are some awesome foxes. Thanks for the photo tour, that was neat. 2- I've got a 58 apache that needs front sheetmetal. Wonder if that guy would part with it from the truck in the pic?

I'm not sure about the production models, the picture you have is one of the race prepped cars, I'll have to look at some pictures of the production model.

I don't know Allen, I'll ask him though.

No one mentioned the '58 ranchero, I love that vehicle. THAT would make a cool coyote swap vehicle!

Here's a good image of a production model @Noobz347 , you can see the extractors better:
Now wouldn't those TRX wheels look good on my blue car? LMR sells a 16" version so I wouldn't have to pay out the butt for tires.

The 16s would def be nice. I'd have to see the replicas though. Do they by chance, have a deep dish?

But yeah.... I can see the extractor a bit better in that one. What I thought were just ridges (similar to the cowl) now look like two fins?

I like how the black starts around the headlights, goes through the grill, and up over the hood. Hell... I think I just like how the two-tone is done all together, on the pace car.

The lettering makes me think of putting looooong legs in it (like 3:27s maybe) and putting the word "INTERCEPTOR" (ala Mad Max) on the hood instead of Mustang. A badge or two with the same lettering would be cool too.

So many possibilities.

I need to find a damned garage. Even if to just rent it or something.

The ones I saw on LMR are really pretty skinny wheels, 16x7, they're meant to duplicate the TRX wheels except in a size a guy can find tires in.

Deep dish would be cool though. I suppose they could be widened, no deep dish that way, but fatter tires.

I really like them, and I think as long as the blue car runs the V6 they would be nice. Not my ultimate wheels, but nice.

Now, when I have that blown coyote in there.......things will be different!

BTW, I really dig the blackout across the headlight/grill area myself.

They are loosening up over there, but they still have their Gestapo contingent intact. My thread here is duplicated exactly over there. They tolerate the Monster because he has 4 eyes. But as an indicator of commentary/participation, My thread here is over 160 pages,...the same one over there is 48. As a group, much more willing to pat you on the head for any progress, regardless if it looks like you just built an abomination, or a thing of beauty.

To me,....the commentary from the same guy that strokes out a comment on how good Quasimoto looks and then follows that w/ the same comment to Prince Charming cant be taken as sincere. (I guess ol Quasi was looking real good that day, or P.C. was just coming off a bad drunk)
I don't believe in false praise.

Either way, the Kumbya is very alive and well over there..
