I have a 1984 mustang with a 5.0 efi.I`m looking to put duel exhaust on the car.My problem is that there is a external fuel pump and fuel filter in the spot where the right muffler is going to be.Any Ideas on how to move it.I do have a newer tank with a internal pump but I`m not if the fuel pressures are the same.Has anyone done this before?

what kind of EFI.. is it CFI or SEFI?

Cfi I think.The unit looks kike a carb with two injectors inside.

I have seen CFI cars with dual exhaust at car shows. If you can get a newer 86 through 93 fuel tank and filter set up but it may be easier to move the filter and pump from the middle of the car to a spot closer to the fuel tank . I think you can just extend any power harness and fuel lines without any issues.

I know it would be easier to do this on a lift too. Maybe have a shop do it.
