I just bought new Moser axles, I cant get them to go in far enough to secure the c clips, any help would be greatly appreciated, Im switching from four lug to five lug

Is the rear axle in your car the factory one? They came with a 7.5" until 1986

Yes it had a 7.5 but I bought a 8.8 to install, I ordered five lug axles and when I put them in the housing they were too short, long story short the rear end I bought was out of a sn95( wider axle housing)

Problem solved, I traded a guy for The correct rear housing

Only the 99-04 housing is wider. All 86-98 housings are the same other than the disk brakes added in 1994

when they added those disc brakes to those buggies in 1894 it tripled the stopping power!

Noobz, So I can bolt my '97 8.8 disc rear end complete straight into my 1985 Fox project ? and use the entire '97 brake system including front disc assy's , lines MC etc ?
