Electrical HELP! 1989 5.0 Stick, Voltage Bleed onto Ignition Trigger wire

Hi and Thanks in Advance.

I have 4.2 Volts with key in Run Position at Red w Blue Start Wire Plug at Solenoid.
I get continuity on a white w Black Wire at Driver Fender BLACK Cannon plug, (8 pin).
I'm having trouble tracing it inside car and don't have wiring diagram.
I've unwrapped harness back to Plugs and no evidence of bare wire

1989 Convertible, 5.0 Stick, Was converted from Auto.
Car had a constant crank issue which killed starter in 2013.
I've just rehabbed and got running.

Car cranked after new Solenoid. Then Stopped. working.
I've jumped solenoid to move car both at Battery Lugs and at Trigger Post.

Been Chasing ignition circuit issues.
Replaced Ignition switch and found 4 Wire Taps under column,
Clutch Safety Switch doesn't operate (has Loop and is Unplugged) and car starts without clutch in.

I have 2 Cut wires , Orange Gray, Orange Blue in Driver Kick Panel also still... Were attached to Viper Security.
I've pulled all aftermarket Viper Alarm, old Phone and Aftermarket Radio wiring

any experience with similar or a wiring diagram would be greatly appreciated! TY, CD

I’ve isolated the back feed to the console Harness. I saw a bare red w blue wire going into the connector at the drivers door panel, next to a White w Pink. I disconnected it and no longer had the continuity under the hood.

I thought it may be the old “penny in the cigarette lighter” ordeal, but it’s not. There was a phone or security sensor others.

Will pull console today and see what got pinched. Looks like Best Buy did a # putting electronics in the car!

may not be the console harness.
Also checked the Wing/Brake Light harness.

Dongle is going across the drivers floor towards the console. Bot NO Red/ BL or White w Pink present in Lighter Ebrake harness.
Gotta get carpet up now.

I have the Chilton's manual Ford Mustang 1989-1993 #8253 , here is a scan of the 89-90 5.0 engine controls wiring diagram. Hope this helps! Additionally, my Haynes Ford Mustang 1979-1992 manual #654 has all the wiring diagrams for the car in section 12, found a few up on ebay for sale.

I have found errors in those wiring diagrams when comparing them to the Ford diagrams that are year specific. Nothing crazy but enough to justify the purchase of the year specific diagrams.

Thanks Guys. I think the Auto loop needed to be plugged into the clutch switch. Will hook up engine bay wiring today and see if fixed.....
