1985 T-top door panel???

I just picked up an '85 T top and I had a fast question. (I can't remember) The t-top was sometimes called a convertible in the books and old documents that I have found.

With that being said what door panel fits a t top car? Will a regular hatch back door panel work or do I have to get one off a vert?

You need one off a vert is what I was told. My 86 Capri is like that. The non-vert's have framed windows while the vert is frameless.......er you mean the entire door or the interior panel? Not sure on the interior panel....

Yeah I am talking about the interior panel! I know on the later years you had to use one from a vert but I am not sure about the older ones.

I think any interior door trim panel for that year car should not fit. The biggest differences are in the mirror trim. I have a 79 with T-tops and the original hatch panels are still on the car 26 years after the window frames were cut off for the t-tops.
