So I recently bought a 5.0L fox body that had been sitting for 8 years because the guy was gone on military duty in Hawaii. But 4 years ago he had the car running but it only ran when he sprayed starter fluid into the throttle body, so I bought the car a bud and I gave the car new spark plugs, wires, and a new battery. After doing that we turned the ignition and the fuel pump primes but when we go to start it it won’t start. But again using starter fluid again into the throttle body it ran for a good 15 seconds then cut off. I don’t know if this has anything to do with it but I can turn the ignition without the key.
