1989 Saleen Car number 89-0054.

This is a three owner car that spent the majority of it’s life in the Las Vegas, NV area. We purchased the car two years ago from the second owner. The first owner is listed in the Saleen Book, and he drove the car for a few years before putting it into storage. The second owner, also from Las Vegas, owned the car for a year before selling it to us. We live in Arizona and the car has been garaged since we bought it and driven to a few car shows in our area.

I have a Carfax and an Autocheck for the car if anyone is interested I can email a scanned copy.

We (my wife and I) have kept every receipt for every part we put into the car, and I have also kept every original part that was replaced for the purpose of maintenance and worn out conditions. As it is now it could be a daily driver for someone or it could be taken to next level and become someone’s show car.

The car is a great driving car, mechanically sound, and we have done a lot of the maintenance items that a 22 year old car needs. The interior is in good shape with a small wear spot about 1 ½ in long on the drivers seat along with a little patina on it also. The rest of the interior is in good shape and the passenger side Flofit has no wear or visible tears. The carpet is in good shape and it could be removed and cleaned to get even better. There are some places on the passenger side door that have paint chips that were there before we purchased the car. The story on the rear hatch is that in the early 90’s the car was broken into through the hatch and the original Pioneer KEH 8050 was stolen, and the insurance company replaced the stereo with a new Pioneer KEHP7000 stereo cassette player with a remote. The rear hatch seems to have been replaced as it may have been damaged and there is some red paint showing along the edge. I had noticed that the front springs and struts are original Saleen, but the rear springs have been replaced and I did not get them from the previous owner. The car could be show quality with a new paint job as it is very straight.
