Engine 1990 GT driver side valve cover

Can the driver side valve cover be removed without removing the upper intake plenum?

what intake? On most it's just a few bolts

Ive reached the bolt on the back side center (which is the hardest one to access) with a swivel socket and extension before. This is with the stock 5.0 upper intake. Ive never tried to take it off...only tighten.

No, but the stock upper intake is pretty easy to just unbolt and shift to the side slightly to get at the valve cover
