I am putting a 1991 302 into a 64 mustang. so far, i have had nothing but complications in the way..

THIS IS MY PROBLEM!
I am bypassing the ac condensor and smog pump... i have taken them both off and will not use them.

I know how to run the system now without the two, but I can not locate the new bracket needed to move the powersteering pump where the A/C condensor was..

I dont have the old Power steering bracket, just the pump..

PLEASE HELP! I just need the bracket that moves it up, and the bolts.. no pump required!

thank you

okay, i understand what you are saying..

see, the 302 isn't even a mustang 302.. its a Grand Marquis, which is practically the same... however, when i went to pick a part, i used a powersteering pump with a Mark IV(?) bracket. and the ac condensor mounts on top of it...

will that conversion kit work with it?

if not, where can i find the bracket that bolts directly to the pump, a stock one that will match it?

Here is a pic from the boneyard. I had to find this set up a few months ago for my own project. I believe the bracket is specific to V8 Mustangs from 86 to 93, but not sure. I also believe it is the same power steering bracket for ac and non-ac cars, but not positive. This pic is the set up for the non-ac car. The conversion kit is basically the same bracket set (the smaller bracket between the steering pump and water pump) the non-ac cars came with. Hope this helps:D
