I'm having I believe a common problem with my mustang. I went to redo my whole a/c system including the Evaporator which I had to take out the dash for and once I put everything back the car will not start. I've done a lot of research on here but I guess I have not found my problem.

I've used all these plus some others as reference.

93 EEC Relay - MustangForums.com

My fuel pump runs continuos, will not stop running. I have no power at the fuel injector wires...I have constant power when I turn on the ignition, but once I try starting the car I get no pulse signal. I have verified power to the EEC relay above the ECM and I'm getting 12v there. I have changed out the fuel pump, verified power to the inertia switch in the trunk. I'm also not getting power to the TPS. I have verified that all the wires around the ignition are snug in the connector.

The car ran great with no problem before this and hopefully it will continue to run great once I get this figured out with help. I have tried averything I know to do and also things from the info on this site.

Thanks
Chuck

If the TPS sees above ~3.71 V, it shuts off ground to the injectors (thus, they will not excite). If you can get the TPS squared away, it might fix the injector issue. You said you don't see VREF at the TPS (5.0V). Does the return show any voltage?

I'd re-run the checklist. It will save time and money.

Good luck.

I'm using a analog meter and it looks like I'm getting somewhere between 1 and 1.5 volts at the orange wire on the TPS. I'm testing it using the orange and black wire on the TPS with key on at closed throttle. I'm about to give upon this thing.

Got it fixed. Car is running. Found someone that had a spare ECM and they came over and we plugged the new ecm in and the car started right up. BAD ECM

Thanks HISSIN50 for your help.
