Having concerns about the e-brake cables in the new fox i picked up. Im a Ford tech and when trying to order cables the parts catalog asks if its a 40 or a 60 sleve. Not sure what to use, is there anyone out there with a 93 who has replaced them and where did you buy them. I can get them cheap from work, so i would rather buy them here. But again...not sure which one to buy.

Thanks

The late 93 models ended up using the cables off the 94+ models. I cannot remember the length of the late 93s and 94+ uses so you will need to look at your car. IIRC, the late 93's sleeving did not go all the way to the drum whereas the precious models did. Also, the 40" may be used on the 93 cobra due to its disc brake setup.

I suspect that that is where the difference is. Disk vs. drum rear. If you work at Ford, order both and if one doesn't fit, send it back or let them keep it in their stock.

I would love to have them order both and use what i need. But it doesnt work that way here. they dont even stock brake pads for Escapes. I just tried to upsell them today. Kinda sad. But anywhoo....im assuming its the whole 93 cobra and non cobra. Because 5.0resto sells 93 Mustang with drums and 93 Mustang cobra setups. So insted of saving money from ford im just gonna order them from 50resto. Or i could just measure the sleeve size. Thanks alot guys.

ps. 88mouse...that fox in youre sig is amazing!!
