Does anyone happen to know what the ground wire on the back of the coil bracket from the injection harness is?

There is a ground that connects the coil to the control module, is that what your looking for?

It looks more like a resistor type deal but it seems like it's grounded. Part# f6uf-18801-aa. Upon searching the internet it's either a part of the coil or a radio noise suppressor? Can get a pic in the a.m.

It's exactly that, it suppresses electrical noise from bleeding into the stereo speakers. When it goes bad, you can hear crackling in the speakers that can sometimes change when you rev the engine.
