Has anyone else noticed that the 1998 cobras tend to run slightly better than the 96-97? Just wondering if its just me noticing this??
On dynoperformance.com, across the board the 98's are putting up slightly better numbers.
I also remember reading a quote by Paul Svinicki of Paul's High Performance where he said "The 1998 engines are better than the 96-97 because they used two less bolts in the intake, and there are two less bosses cast into the intake. Also the IMRC are made of plastic and they have the best port match, and, thus, the best flow."
Why don't I ever see any mention of this on the forums?? What exactly is he saying?? Will these cars respond better to mods?
I had a 1998 Atlatic Blue Cobra bone stock run a 13.6 @ 102.8. In 81 degrees at maple grove Raceway in PA. So I am leaning toward this theory, am I correct??
