1998 mustang Gt a/c orifice tube?

This is straight from ALLDATA:

The A/C evaporator core orifice, located in the condenser to evaporator tube, cannot be serviced in detail as a component of the line. If replacement is necessary, follow the procedure in Refrigerant Lines for removal and installation.

it says that the whole line from the condensor to the evaporator core must be replaced, but i do believe that they do make a service kit for this so you can just remove the orfice tube. you may need a special tool though. Did you replace the compressor or something? hope this info helps. if you still cant find it i will do more searching for ya.

NOTE: The evaporator core orifice is an integral part of the condenser to evaporator line and should be installed as an assembly with the line.

NOTE: A new evaporator core orifice should be installed whenever a new A/C compressor is installed.
