What would be the options for a 1999-2004 Saleen Mustang?
I know that the 10" rears was an option and I think the tonneau cover was also.
Silver or chrome rims. I know the S281-E has a 6 speed.
Besides an E Saleen, what options were their for a regular S281, supercharged?

Thanks

By year, you can see them listed on literature available here: Saleen Owners and Enthusiasts Club - SOEC - Vehicle Specification Sheets

Thanks Jim,

So it looks like the Saleen Maxgrip was an option, the 4 piston calipers, the 18x10 rears, and the Pirelli Rosso tires.
Their had to be more. I see some Saleen's for sale, stating a factory tonneau cover included.
I wonder if that was in the saleen brochure?

Some this depends on the year.

Between 1999 and 2004 optional and standard content changed.

During the earlier part... stuff like the vented hood, painted door inserts, floor mats, brake upgrade were optional across the board for the S281 N/A and S/C.

As the era marched forward... those items started to become standard on the two models (depending on which one).

While stuff the the Carbon Fiber package and Recaros were dropped.

A 6-speed became optional later in the New Edge area.

The hard cover is the Speedster package while the soft cover is the Spyder.

There's really almost too much stuff to type. If you have a specific year you're interested in we can pull a dealer guide, for said year, and give the low down on what was available... but if you're getting into Saleens I can recommend Brad Bowling's The Saleen Book.

If the first step is gaining interest in Saleen Vehicles... then the second step is buying a copy of Brad's book... the third step is hanging around the SOEC website to see the current and future documents in our public library.
