Are you about to buy one? Or just checking for someone else?

If you're buying, then you know what we want...

Lol if I get it then of course pics will come. I know of one for sale. Its a 1994 black Lightning. I havent driven it, but Ive seen it. My Dad talked to the guy selling it and he said he would take $5500 for it.

Im not sure if Im gonna get it. It looks good and is very tempting. If I got it I would have something to drive and could finally rebuild the motor in the notch

Are they good for towing? I have no idea if they are, its a 2wd truck. Whats the towing capacity on them? My Dad already has a tow vehicle, a 2005 F150 FX4. So I think Im good either way.

Well no Lightning guys. Instead me and my pops got a Ranger today. Its a red 2001 Ranger Edge with the 4.0L in great conditioin. We got a good deal on it that we couldnt pass up. It will get the job done while i begin working on the 93 notch

I had a 2000 Ranger 4x4 with the 4.0L and auto. It was horrible on gas and too slow to get out if it's own way, but I loved it. It was a step side, extended cab with a fresh coat of paint, it sure was pretty. Good luck with it man!

Here she is (was):

Heres a pic of the truck. Its an 01 Ranger Edge. Only 2wd but I dont really need 4wd for anything, especially since my dad has his 2005 F150 FX4. It only had one owner before us, an elderly man, so its in great condition.

I just realized I have a patriotic driveway with the red ranger, white notch, and my dads blue F150 lol. Ill have to line them up and take a picture.

2wd Edge = 3.0 V6? Reliable engine but gutless. Overall Rangers are decent trucks but you will spend your fair share on maintenance and replacing wear parts like ball joints.

Nope its actually got the bigger 4.0L V6 in it. Its seems to run great so far, but Ive only had if for a day. I love it so far.

Good deal on having the 4.0, leaps and bounds better than the 3.0...202hp gets that truck down the road pretty well. my buddy has an 01 edge 4x4 flareside with the 4.0/auto and 4.10's it goes pretty good
