I am thinking about swaping my 2.3L for a 2.3T... I dont want to spend much over $1000, my car is an 87 Mustang T Top, and it is rusty...not bad though.

Me and my grandpa got the passengers side fixed , but stupid me... I ripped out the mouldings, and now I want them back in... But we already put filler in the holes.

On the drivers side we are taking the door off and replacing it with a door from an 89'... perfect condition (body wise). the only problem is, the 87' (the one Ill be driving) is power windows, locks, hatch... everything! but the 89' isnt... so I have to figure out how to give a non-power locks and windows door power locks and windows, any help?

And for the Turbo swap... any other performance reccomendations? Im buying new brake discs and drums, and shocks (they are rusted to hell). So anything to make it look sharp, and run great is much appreciated!

By the way, it has 156,000km on it

I'd imagine you could just route the power stuff through your new door and place the switch setup from your old door on your new door. I have no prior experience though so that's just a guess.
As for performance, a full 3" exhaust and cold air intake are popular modifications but worry first about getting a motor.

If you already have the car. $1000 will take you a very long way depending on how cheap you can find an engine.
Make this your list of must have's when you do the swap
255 high pressure walbro fuel pump
Kirban adjustable fuel pressure regulator
Ric Gillis Boost Valve
Don't forget the exhaust stuff. www.stinger-performance.com Stinger will have everything you need and you can see how his stuff effects a stock car by checking out the black 88 coupe. Thats the one listed in my signature.

Yeah what he said except The pump only costs $96 from Jdsperformance.com

It helps keep the cost down because alot of that stuff is made for 5.0's.

I've also never given more than a $300-400 for a running engine and everything to swap it.
