2.3t rebuild kit

whats an estimate for a rebuild kit for a 85 2.3t svo motor? including all bottom end new parts(bearings, rods, pistons, etc..)

the engine has been setting for bout a year and ahalf. if im going to do it im going to do it right, not gonna half ass it. actually i will look everything over before i make any purchases like that but im just looking for a figure price range on it all

If you just do what it "needs" to be considered freshened up and ready to handle 400+hp, the rebuild kit is only about 135 bux. If you include rods and pistons, it's going to be about 700 more plus a couple hundred more for machine work.

i work at a machine shop so i got that part covered

i doubt ill need the rods because it was running good when the motor was pulled. also another question...how much for a t3 rebuild?

actually id sell the motor and head for $50 without the turbo if someone would buy it in the next week or so.

You won't need the pistons either...

T3 rebuild is about 300 bux or you can get a kit for about 100...
