Yup, that's it.
The ranger rods I beleive are the same length, but because of the extra stroke, the pistons are shorter (from pin to crown). Not an ideal ring pack for turbo apps, but it can work. I like having the extra thick crown for turbo apps.
Still, the gains from a 2.5 crank arn't going to be huge. The engine is so air flow limited, that hp will change little, but you'll have nearly 10% more low end torque.
The biggest thing you have to have is main bearing spacers from Racer Walsh or Esslinger Engineering. 2.5 crank has smaller main journals than the 2.3L crank.
