Hello all, I decided to take the Cobra to the track last week for the first time. I only got two passes in, both with my 200 ish pound uncle riding shotgun. Any idea on how much I can expect to shave off my time without the extra weight? I wanted to make another pass solo, but the rain kept holding up the action.

thanks

1 tenth for every 100lbs is the general rule. What were your times??

Thanks for the replies. My best of 2 runs was a 14.8 at 96 with a 2.3x 60 ft. My goal is to dip into the 13s without doing gears or any other bolt-ons. From the above posts I can expect a few 10ths on weight, and I know there is room for improvement on my 60 ft time and shift points. I am familiar with the car as a DD but this was only my 2nd time down the 1320 with it.

Judging by your times and what a stock Cobra can run, I'd guess your uncle weighs about 900 pounds.
