2000 Cobra R Exhaust

Ive already talked to some people about the whole Cobra R clone thing, but no one answered my question about the exhaust. I guess there is only one company that makes side pipes for 99 and up Mustangs (to my knowledge), and that is Borla. I want to get these side pipes (see first link) for my Cobra, but I noticed that the tips are different then the Cobra R's tips (second link).

As you can see, they dont quite look the same...and im trying to find anything I can do to get a close match (even if I have to weld a new set of tips on, etc.) So, if anybody can shed some light and help on this matter, that would be awesome...

Goto www.spintechmufflers.com, I bought a pair of side exit from them, with long tube headers, they sounded great. I also looked for the cobra r tips and had no luck. You may have to have some made.

Thanks.....But now I have one more question.....

Does anyone know of a custom exhaust place where they would be able to make some tips for me to mount on the side exit exhaust? I dont know if Borla has some tips that they could send me and I could cut them up, but I'll give it a shot. Any input on this topic would be awesome...

I donno maybe if all this works out right I could get some flame throwers to torch up the idiots that always try to pass me on the highway going 2 miles an hour

Borla makes the side exhaust kit for the Cobra R.
