http://www.americanmuscle.com/tuner-410-gear-oil-kit-9904gt.html

Is this a good deal, and does it include every thing I need for the gear installation.

Yes that is a great deal, I bought mine like that. Btw get the bearing kit for the gears, that way you have new bearings in the car. Btw I saw you want to lower your stang, first get some quality shocks/struts and springs of your choice, anything lower than 1.5 inches will need caster camber plates.

Good luck and welcome to the never ending modding of a Mustang haha.

Ooops nvm I saw that it does come with the bearing kit, that's a good deal!

Did you go with 4.10's or 3.73's? I had 3.73's in my old one and miss them like hell, that's gonna be one of the first things I do when I get the insurance money right along with a short throw shifter. My 03 with stock gears does better highway and about the same around town, sometimes a little worse, than my 99 with 3.73's did. The 3.73's let you use 5th a lot more, but with 4.10's you'll probably take a pretty decent hit in gas mileage... 3.73's are the best all around if you ask me and that's what most I know say. I would go 4.10's if it wasn't my daily driver, 3.73's if it was.

Hopefully I'm not affected to much, I ordered 4.10 gears.

I never got around to getting a tuner for mine before the wreck so hopefully that helps you out.

Haha let me know how it is... I haven't done gears yet on my new one and when I do I plan on having a tuner and a separate daily driver... Although I'll probably still drive my Mustang a whole lot so I don't want horrible gas mileage lol.

Yeah, no problem. As soon as I install them and have time to test them out , ill comment on what I think about them.

Ok, I finally got my gears install. My uncle installed them for $150 . I like them so far. The only concern I have is I'm getting my shifts a little to aggressive. I tested the car just with the gears without the tune and I did not notice anything. I noticed it after I installed a 91 octane performance tune. This tune is with stock gear ratio, hopefully the new 91 octane performance tune with 4.10 gear ratio solves this issue. Is this commend with gears? or with this tune ? Any suggestions what I can do to resolve this?
