Is there any change in performance between the two engines and what CR does the 99-01 have vrs the 01-04s.And also,did ford make any changes to the 04s in the underrated performance department just for the heck of it being the last of that body style and the 40th ed?I have heard the the newer 01+s are a little underated and are really at 275HP or so,so I was just wondering if this was true.
The 99-00 with the Windsor block have 9:1 compression. The Romeo motors have 9.45:1. that .45 worth of compression doenst really do too much. The 02 and 03s I think MAY dyno a little higher than their earlier counter parts.
