i found a guy locally who is selling a full swap out of a 2001 saleen for $400. calipers, lines, rotors. brackets and ebrake cables. first off is this a good deal? second what all would it take for me to use these? i know i have to swap the front spindles out for 94-95 spindles, but being im running svo axles would i have to swap out my rear axles for stock length? thanks

Which Saleen setup??

The base 2001 Saleen came with the same brakes as the average 2001 V6/GT Mustang.

I beleive the next level up was a 13" front brake setup but still kept the V6/GT brakes.

If it's the GT brake setup, it's not worth $400

Also, what comes with the rear setup? The axles are unusable to you. You would need 94-98 Mustang axles with the 2001 rear disk setup

i'll have to get ahold of him and ask what kind of saleen it came off of, he said it was dual piston calipers so i assumed it was 13" rotors too. kit doesnt come with axles. comes with front and rear rotors, calipers, brackets, lines and ebrake cables.

Well, the GT/V6 used dual piston calipers that year.

You'll have to know for sure. Pics would help too

That's my point. $200 MAX!

Now if they are the 13" Alcons...different story

dont do it for that cost. saleen sells them for so much cheaper for the whole shebang and they are new as takeoffs.

They are stock GT brakes. They do not have 13 inch rotors unless they are brembos. Atthat point they are the same as the 2000 Cobra R kit with a Saleen sticker on them.
