Nevermind I figured it out. I thought the plastic retainer would just pop out like every other piece in our lego cars does. But for this removal, you have to actually undo the bolt connected to the retainer, that was installed by the hands of Satan! Had to run to Sears to pick up a 5/8 open ended wrench in order to get the job done - before I rammed my adjustable wrench through my spleen trying to get the size juuuuuust right. I love Ford.
