My son's GT dies while decel to a stop. Pop the clutch to get it to refire or I can key restart. Doesn't do it all the time. Also, once warm, it will idle rough then die. Hard to start after but will fire back up after a few minutes. Again this is intermittent. I'm pretty sure both issues are related. Fuel pressure is good...it does have a miss that I'm tracing but it was doing these other things before the miss developed. I've tried to find a vacuum leak and a shop had it for a day and didn't find anything. No CEL...not even for the miss. I've tried to find a tuner to look at it but no one really fools with the two valves anymore. I've driven these cars for years and have always figured out what was wrong. This one had me stumped.
Mods are Comp 270's, Cobra crank, dished pistons and ported/polished heads.
