2002 GT Intermettant rough idle and shut down

My son's GT dies while decel to a stop. Pop the clutch to get it to refire or I can key restart. Doesn't do it all the time. Also, once warm, it will idle rough then die. Hard to start after but will fire back up after a few minutes. Again this is intermittent. I'm pretty sure both issues are related. Fuel pressure is good...it does have a miss that I'm tracing but it was doing these other things before the miss developed. I've tried to find a vacuum leak and a shop had it for a day and didn't find anything. No CEL...not even for the miss. I've tried to find a tuner to look at it but no one really fools with the two valves anymore. I've driven these cars for years and have always figured out what was wrong. This one had me stumped.

Mods are Comp 270's, Cobra crank, dished pistons and ported/polished heads.

I'm having same trouble with kids 03 GT. It has a new motor but when warm seems to have problem. Changed IAC, cleaned MAF and pvc valve

Mine turned out to be two bad injectors.

Did you scope it to find them or use a BOB? Back in the day we used BOB (break out box) to find all those odd runability problems.

We did take my kids in and run on scope, ECM was messing up intermittently. We had them replace it and reprogram keys ect and car is running fine now.
