2002 GT with Flowmaster cat back?????

I just bought an 02 GT with a flowmaster cat back and hate the dreaded drone. Should I replace the entire cat back or can I cut out and weld in new Borla or Magnaflow's in their place? Are the Wickedflow's any good either? Thnaks for your help. I sold my Vette last week just to buy this GT and I love it!!!!!!

Flowmasters and MAC stuff that I had I hated the drone. MAC was worse than Flowmasters IMO. Both were on a 4.6L car too.
